Introduction
GY101 series motor microcomputer monitoring protector is the crystallization of the modern new and high technology which summarized the development and research of motor protector and microcomputer protector., has the advanced field bus interface based on imported IC, intellectual property rights of patent technology and the software copyright.The motor protection is executed and controlled by the microprocessor,support the feeder protection to perform the motor operation, self-diagnosis and communication with PC, etc. The protector provides the measurements for motor protection, to avoid industrial accidents caused by overload, locked-rotor, overvoltage, undervoltage, light load, open phase, three-phase imbalance, grounding failure, which ensures the normal operation of the equipment to greatest extend.
Impeccable microcomputer protection monitoring device provides comprehensive protection of collection, calculation, analysis, monitoring, alarm and control of detailed information of various operation conditions in the process of motor running. Protectors achieve timely, accurate protection and ensure the effect of the equipment operation safety by fault alarm, protection action (protection tripping), and delay action.Detailed information of motor running situation can be real-time monitored on upper computer by data information and communication, then provide management information after computer data processing.The limit alarm will be given before major failures may occur to remind manager, which greatly avoid the unnecessary downtime affecting normal production and ensure the effectiveness of the equipment operation to the greatest extent.When the motor running parameters reach a preset warning value, no trigger tripping but early warning will be given;when the limit reaches the preset tripping value, the protection device will get into the tripping trigger delay. If recovered to the normal operation in preset tripping delay time, tripping will be canceled.If exceeded delay time limit, the tripping signal will be given to disconnect the power supply to stop motor running. The protector provides not only protection function but all sorts of protection information generated by device to the computer management system and the communication interface.
Basic Protection Function
Starting protection: In the process of starting, only provides protection with overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit, phase and three-phase unbalanced, start overtime without overcurrent.
Over voltage protection: When working voltage of protector exceed the set voltage for 6 seconds(default value is 260V).
Low voltage protection:When working voltage of protector is lower than the set voltage for 6 seconds(default value is 180V)
Open-phase protection£ºAny phase current of the motor is power off , protector will perform in 2 seconds.
Motor Shaft Lock Protection£ºWhen running current exceeds set multiple£¬protector will perform in 2 seconds.
Unbalance protection£ºWhen current value difference between any two phases exceeds set percentage£¬protector will perform in 2 seconds.
Undercurrent: When the continuous working current is lower than the threshold set owe flow, protector will perform in 10 seconds.
Leakage protection£ºWhen leakage current value is detected to exceed the set value by zero sequence current transformer, protector will perform in 1 second.
Short-circuit protection: When short-circuit current exceed leakage current 5 times, protector will perform in 2 seconds.
Over-current protection£ºThe action time of the over-current protection turns into inverse time protection or quick break protection(sheet 2)

Setting function£ºSet protection parameters according to running current value of the motor.
Matching function£ºUnder 200A no need to configure the transformer, more than 200 a protector need to configure 3 standard transformer 5A. For example, 400A specification needs with 400A/5A current transformer.
Communication protocol: Support self-programmed and MODBUS and various kinds of communication protocol.
Current output: Three phase current average turns into DC4-20mA signal.
Note:1¡¢It¡¯s advisable that transformer is fixed at the bottom of the a.c. Contactor, using screws and standard 35 mm rail installation; Three-phase line respectively go through the transformer three holes; Connect the second line according to the shell wiring diagram and check before electricity debugging.
2¡¢AC power of protector itself should be connected ahead of the a.c. Contactor to guarantee power supply for a long time.
